10:37 p.m., October 2nd , and I am ending the day, even though it never really started.
I haven’t slept in the past 24 hours, because I wrote, and then I wrote some more in my journal, planning for the month of October.
I read through my goals from last month and realized I only achieved about 30%. But that 30% means the entire world to me.
This morning, a man with a knife was threatening a woman.
He was standing in front of his house while she stood across the road. We moved to a safe distance when she told me that he threatens her every time he sees her.
I think her life is at stake not just because of the threats, but because the man looked like he might be on drugs.
Later, I took a keke with a drunk man. First, he stared at me, then touched me, and leaned in close to my cheek. Within those few minutes, he confessed his feelings for me, argued with a woman, asked for my name, and wanted to know exactly where I was going.
It all happened in less than three minutes.
When I got down, he grabbed my hand. I told him not to touch me, now that I was finally at a safe distance. I switched to another keke and headed to work.
Shoot day went fine. We finished so early that the sun was almost blinding when I left. I wasn’t used to leaving that early.
Nifemi celebrated his birthday and ordered rice for the team. I took mine home.
At home, I tried on the clothes Daddy Posi had withheld for a whole month. Then I prayed, ate, went to my happy place, came back, and tried to write. So here I am at 10:37 p.m., October 2nd. I carried over my writing, and here I am at 5:40am October 3rd.

We are oceans apart but I understand this one title a little too well
